TASK 1: Down to work...

Right then, the blog's created and I gotta get down to work on the assignment.

Who's writing, and how do you perceive them to be?
Why, it's Michael Powell himself! I picked this particular blog becuase of it's name, "shinyshinyshiny". Good job Michael (or Mike, if I may?) on a brilliant blog name! =D
I perceive Mike from his blog to be an entertaining character with alot of insight into his chosen area of expertise: gaming.

Does blogging strike you as objective or more personal?
Well that seems to vary but most of the posts have a very personal feel to them. Most blogs in general do have a very loose and personal style to them which I think is alot more desirable than an essay format.

How often do they write, what do they write about?
Mr. P seems to write quite often and on varying subjects from gaming and confrences to general daily goings on.

How do you see yourself using a blog?
I hope to see myself using it frequently to get my thoughts, comments and concerns down somewhere, almost like an online diary. I think blogs are a brilliant idea and also look forward to reading the thoughts of others.

Do you feel comfortable writing for an invisible audience for example?
To be honest, the thought doesn't bother me in the slightest and I'm looking forward to getting this blog going!
