Anyway, enough about the man that obviously doesn't understand a student's sleeping pattern because I thought that this could be a good oppertunity to post something new that I've been doing recently. As of the past few days I've been doing two speed paints from reference a day. This is not only to improve my speed, but my art in general as it teaches me what I need to pick out quickly in order to make a picture good.
I only allow myself 1 hour for each picture and so far I've come along nicely! Here are some of my speed paintings:

serious there well impressive, when i glanced at them i thought the top and bottom ones were photo's and the girl emote's a certain charecter and feeling in the way youve drawn her.

haha, thanks man. You should see some of the rejects that I produced though, there are some real horrors amongst this lot!
Also, I just realised that it's been about 2 months since I last did one of these. Maybe I should start up again...
